We handle high volume document reviews arising from litigation disclosure, investigations and data subject access requests. We use the specialist Everlaw platform, operated by experienced lawyers and project managers, to ensure reviews are accurate, cost-effective and efficient. For every matter, our service runs end-to-end, from initial scoping and data collection through Everlaw setup and administration to final output.
eDisclosure
Litigation disclosure is heavily scrutinised, by opposing counsel and by the court, including in relation to cost budgeting. Our reviews are defensible, technology-assisted where justified, and managed in line with agreed cost budgets. The primary purpose of the review might be disclosure, but we help our clients extract meaningful insights from the documents: find better needles, sooner.
Investigations
Speed matters in investigations, whether you’re responding to a regulator or getting ahead of an internal issue. The challenge is often that you don’t know what you’re looking for, or whether there’s anything to find at all. Everlaw’s data analytics and AI functionality can identify concepts, patterns and sentiment across large document sets without relying on search terms alone, so you can prove a negative as confidently as you can prove a positive.
DSARs
Employee DSARs have become key leverage in employment disputes. Initial searches routinely return tens of thousands of documents, but in-house teams rarely have the specialist tools or capacity to handle them. Full-service law firm rates are hard to justify against the amounts at stake. What is a Data Subject Access Request (DSAR)?
A DSAR is a request made by an individual to access personal data held about them. Organisations must respond within strict timeframes, often requiring large-scale data collection and review.

We only have a couple of thousand documents — is specialist eDisclosure overkill?
No. Everlaw is priced on data volume, making it cost-effective even for small matters or at the outset of a larger case when you’re working from initial client disclosures. The collaboration and work product tools create efficiencies for fee earners that more than offset the platform cost.
Do you work on other platforms?
If you’re asking for a recommendation or for us to supply the platform, it will be Everlaw every time. That said, we have experience on other leading platforms and our project management and review services are available where the client has already chosen a different platform.
How do you price your services?
We offer hourly and day rates, per document pricing and fixed fees depending on the nature of the matter. We agree the approach upfront and track against estimates throughout. Our rates are extremely competitive compared to equivalently qualified and experienced resource in law firms.
I’ve heard the court rules don’t allow AI use — is that correct?
No. The Civil Procedure Rules governing English civil proceedings are technology agnostic and permit AI use in their current form. There are also plenty of applications beyond the review itself — work product generation, quality control, document summaries — where AI adds value regardless of the disclosure methodology.
Is AI use secure? Will the AI provider retain or learn from my data?
No. Everlaw has an enterprise agreement with OpenAI which prevents the AI provider from retaining or training on client data.
Will AI be used on my matter?
Only with your agreement. Where we recommend it, we will deploy workflows to verify its outputs — the same standard of oversight we apply to human review effort.
How quickly can you get started?
We can spin up a database in an hour or two and have your data uploaded and ready for initial review the same day.
How do you ensure confidentiality?
All client data is hosted on Everlaw’s secure cloud infrastructure. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest using AES-256 encryption, with access controls including multi-factor authentication and role-based user management. Everlaw holds ISO 27001 certification, SOC 2 Type 2 certification, Cyber Essentials Plus certification and is fully GDPR compliant. Platform uptime exceeds 99.9% annually.
